Design & Pricing
What is the minimum for a new Christmas light project?
New standalone seasonal projects start at $1,500. That covers design, supplied lights and greenery, installation, seasonal care, and removal/storage. Final pricing varies based on the approved design, your property, and access.
What's included in the full service?
Six things: design, company-supplied lights and décor, installation, covered seasonal care, removal, and storage. Lit JAX owns all materials as part of an annual service — you don't store or maintain anything.
Do I keep the lights and materials?
No. Lit JAX owns all the supplied lights and décor. The service uses our lights, not customer-owned lights, and returning customers reuse or refresh the same owned materials each season.
Can you install lights I already own?
No. Our service uses Lit JAX-supplied commercial-quality materials so we can stand behind the display's look, safety, and reliability. We don't install customer-owned lights.
How does the design process work?
The initial consultation and concept are complimentary, with one consolidated revision before acceptance. The concept is intended placement and style — the written, approved scope governs how your display actually looks.
Will the display exactly match the image?
The concept shows the intended placement and style. Your approved written scope governs the appearance; the actual result can vary with your property, roofline, greenery, and viewing conditions.
Booking & Installation
How do I reserve my installation date?
Installation is confirmed only after you accept the approved written proposal, pay a verified deposit, and our team confirms your window. During the season you can also hold an available date free for 24 hours while we prepare your quote — that hold is temporary and is not a confirmed booking.
How does a 24-hour date hold work?
A hold keeps your chosen installation date open for 24 hours from the moment it's created — free, with no credit card. It expires 24 hours from creation; after it expires, that date's availability must be rechecked. To confirm the installation, accept your quote and pay your deposit within the hold window, then our team confirms the install. If you're paying close to the deadline, call us so we can help.
When is the balance due?
The balance is due when your installation is complete and tested.
When are installations and removals scheduled?
Installation runs October 1 – December 15, 2026. Standard displays remain installed through January 5, 2027, and removal is routed January 5 – 25, 2027. Seasonal care continues through your actual removal date — not just January 5. Extensions are agreed in advance; your exact dates are confirmed in your written scope.
Care & Removal
What if something needs service during the season?
Contact us for covered failures and service needs. Severe weather and safe-access conditions can affect timing, so we'll work with you to keep the display looking its best and address issues promptly.
Do you offer permanent or landscape lighting year-round?
No — our service is seasonal Christmas lighting only. We don't offer permanent installs or landscape lighting as a separate product.
I'm a returning customer — how does rebooking work?
Returning customers confirm the prior design and any changes, the current-season price, and available installation windows rather than starting over at the new-project minimum. Let us know in your request and we'll review your existing display.
